Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 8, 2026
1. Our Commitment
Loxtep is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards so that our customers, partners, and their users can access governed context and agent tooling equitably.
2. Scope
This statement applies to:
- The Loxtep web application and platform (app.loxtep.io)
- The Loxtep marketing website (loxtep.io)
- Public documentation and developer resources we publish
- Customer-facing APIs and MCP interfaces where a user interface is provided
Third-party integrations, customer-authored content, and embedded widgets from other providers may have separate accessibility characteristics. Where we control the integration surface, we work to ensure those experiences remain usable with assistive technology.
3. Conformance Standard
Our target conformance level is Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 AA is widely adopted by higher education institutions and aligns with Section 508 and ADA Title II expectations for web-based software.
We are actively working toward substantial conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA across the Loxtep platform. Some areas may not yet fully conform; known gaps and our remediation plans are described in Section 8 and in our Accessibility Conformance Report (VPAT).
4. Accessibility Features
Loxtep is designed with accessibility in mind. Features and practices include:
- Semantic HTML structure and meaningful page landmarks
- Keyboard-accessible navigation and interactive controls
- Visible focus indicators for keyboard users
- Text alternatives for meaningful non-text content where applicable
- Sufficient color contrast for text and interactive elements in core workflows
- Responsive layouts that support zoom and reflow up to 200%
- Form labels, error identification, and descriptive link text
- Support for browser and operating-system accessibility settings, including reduced motion where supported
5. Assessment and Verification
We evaluate accessibility through a combination of:
- Automated testing during development (axe, Lighthouse, and similar tooling)
- Manual keyboard and screen reader testing on critical user journeys
- Design and engineering review against WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria
- Periodic third-party accessibility audits of major product releases
Accessibility is incorporated into our software development lifecycle. New features are reviewed for accessibility impact before release, and regressions are treated as defects with defined remediation timelines based on severity.
6. Assistive Technology Compatibility
Loxtep is tested with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge) on desktop and mobile, in combination with assistive technologies such as NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack. Because assistive technology and browser combinations vary, we recommend using the latest stable browser and assistive technology versions for the best experience.
7. Reporting Accessibility Issues
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of Loxtep. If you encounter a barrier or need content in an alternative format, please contact us:
- Email: accessibility@loxtep.io
- Subject line: "Accessibility feedback"
Please include, when possible:
- The page or feature where you experienced the barrier
- A description of the issue and the assistive technology used (if any)
- Your browser, operating system, and device
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days and provide an initial response with expected remediation timelines within ten business days. Critical barriers that block core functionality are prioritized for expedited resolution.
8. Known Limitations and Roadmap
Like many enterprise SaaS products, some areas of Loxtep may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Current focus areas for improvement include:
- Complex data visualizations and diagram-heavy views — additional text alternatives and keyboard paths are in progress
- Some third-party embedded components — we are working with vendors or replacing components where conformance gaps exist
- Legacy admin screens — being updated as part of ongoing UI modernization
We maintain an internal accessibility roadmap tied to product releases. Customers under enterprise agreement may request a summary of planned remediation timelines for specific workflows.
9. VPAT / Accessibility Conformance Report
Our Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) / Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR) for the current Loxtep release is published at loxtep.io/accessibility/vpat. The ACR documents conformance against WCAG 2.1, Section 508, and EN 301 549 where applicable, and is updated at least annually or with major product releases. You may also contact accessibility@loxtep.io or your account representative to request the report in an alternate format.
10. Contractual Commitments
Loxtep will include accessibility commitments in customer agreements upon request, including a stated conformance target of WCAG 2.1 Level AA and a defined process for reporting, tracking, and remediating accessibility issues. These terms are commonly referenced in higher education procurement and HECVAT assessments.
11. Formal Complaints and Escalation
If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility concern, you may escalate the matter by emailing legal@loxtep.io with the subject line "Accessibility escalation." Institutional customers may also use their designated account or support channel. We are committed to good-faith resolution and will work with your accessibility or procurement office as needed.
12. Changes to This Statement
We review this accessibility statement periodically and update it when our conformance status, assessment methods, or contact information change. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
